My quest to find out what is a Warrior?
My quest started with Wikipedia, and according to them a warrior is a person skilled in combat or warfare, especially within the context of a tribal or clan-based society that recognizes a separate warrior class. In many societies in which a specialized warrior class exists, specific codes of conduct (ethical code or honour code) are established to ensure that the warrior class is not corrupted or otherwise dangerous to the rest of society. Common features of a warrior class include valuing honour in the forms of faith, loyalty and courage. During my research quest I also found out that Warrior is the name of a movie, starring Joel Edgerton, Tom Hardy, and Nick Nolte. The youngest son of an alcoholic former boxer returns home, where he is trained by his father for competition in a mixed martial arts tournament - a quest that puts the fighter on a collision corner with his older brother. I might watch that movie one day.
